Brian has over 30 years of advising experience having joined the industry after having to retire from professional football with Oldham Athletic following an injury whilst Phil has over 30 years’ experience in advising having had several different practices before joining Merlyn permanently in 2016.

Having left sixth from in 2015, I started a position coaching young children sport in primary schools. Two years later, I decided I wanted a career change and joined the business working under Phil paraplanning and completing general admin work. In 2020 I completed my exams and achieved a diploma in financial advice and have since built my own bank of clients. I live in Read with my wife and in my spare time, I play golf at Wilpshire Golf Club and football for my local team almost on a weekly basis.
